We can do it! With our extensive railroad contacts, experience, technology, and “out of the box” thinking, we are able to move cargo on rail that otherwise would not have been able to move on rail.

SRT officially began on May 24, 2004, as a subsidiary of Cooper/T. Smith, but much of the team has been working together in rail transportation since as far back as 1993. As a member of the Cooper Group of Companies, SRT is able to provide a consistent level of service, as well as, interface with other parties involved in transportation.

Members of the SRT team come from a variety of transportation backgrounds, including heavy haul, heavy lift, trucking, railroads and manufacturing. This helps SRT understand and coordinate with other parts of transportation and make your entire shipment a success.

Specialized Rail Transport, Inc. wholly owned subsidiary of Cooper / T. Smith continues to grow and evolve. With locations in Houston, TX, Jacksonville, FL, and Tulsa, OK, SRT continues to meet the needs of our customers and our industry.
